Back to training….

Welcome back from Dukinfield Tigers to all of our returning players parents and carers, and a big HELLO to all our new recruits!

After nearly 2 years of disrupted football we are all very much looking forward to this season being as close to ‘normal’ as it can be!

Don’t forget to set up your standing orders this month.

Please let your coach know if you are having difficulties in setting it up, or speak to our treasurer Jackie – her contact details are on the committee page.

We now have 18 teams operating in the East Manchester Football League and North Manchester Girls’ League. We have a newly formed U9 Girl’s team and are looking at creating an U7 and Under 8 team from our Tiger Cubs sessions.

As always our Club relies on the generous time of our volunteer coaches and committee members .

If you are interested in helping/ volunteering with the Club, please speak to Nick Hartigan our Chairman (details on the committee page)

Enjoy the season

Covid-19 Update – March 2021

Please see the latest FA update

We welcome the UK Government’s update today regarding the Covid-19 roadmap for easing lockdown restrictions which means we can look forward to the safe return of grassroots football from 29 March for both adults and children.

With this new clarity around timings, we will continue to work with Government on plans for a safe return for grassroots football across England and will communicate updated guidance as soon as we can.

We can also confirm that the 2020/21 grassroots season has been extended until the end of June in order to provide additional flexibility and time for leagues to complete their fixtures this season if they wish to do so.

Please note, the extension does not apply to the National League System (NLS) Steps 3-6, Regional NLS Feeder Leagues and the Women’s Football Pyramid from Tier 3 and below, including County Leagues at Tier 7, as the process to determine the preferred route forward for these competitions is currently ongoing. We will provide a further update on this in due course.

Please keep an eye out for any further communication on our social media feed.
